NOVICE WORKSHOP

Designed for those with little to no woodworking experience. The novice workshop will go through the fundamentals of the woods chosen for your guitar, why they are used, and the best way to care for them. Most of the 16 main components will be pre-fashioned and readied for assembly. Some hand tools such as chisels, hand planers, and sanding with various mediums will be required. The Novice workshop is a great way to gain experience with the Luthier artistry and build your confidence in producing a functional work of art that you will be proud to say “I made this”.

The Novice Workshop is broken down into 11 Sessions for a total of 40hrs to be used over an 8-week period, giving you the freedom to move at your own pace. Individual build sessions may range anywhere up to 5hrs depending on the stage you’re at.
